Tahoe Summer Sunsets

Last week on Tuesday and Wednesday we had thundershowers up here in Lake Tahoe. It really didn’t rain that much, but it made for two of the best sunsets of the summer so far. I will let the photos speak for themselves. ENJOY!!!

My Mom Visits Tahoe

Last week my Mom and Sheba the wonder dog/wolf come up to Tahoe to visit and relax. Well not really relax it seems like we were always out doing something. I showed her around to some of the local spots and some of touristy spots too. My mom got a new kayak so I took her to some cool lakes and of course the “BIG BLUE” Lake Tahoe. So here are some photos of the adventures. All of the photos were taken on point & shoot cameras. I just got a new point & shoot camera and it rocks, it’s the Canon Power Shot SD 850 IS.

Donavon

I photographed my best friends daughter the last day I was down in So Cal. She had just performed in a dance recital. So my buddy and his wife wanted some photos taken of her in the dance outfit. We went out to a secret spot and had a photo shoot. Donavon showed off her dance moves and hammed it up for the camera. I had such a good time. Kids that age are so easy to photograph. Next year Donavon will be in the 1st grade, so crazy how time flies to seems just like yesterday I was taking photos at her 1st brithday party. Here is the slideshow of the photo session.

Waylon

When I was down in Santa Barbara to shoot Courtney and Doug’s wedding I was able to photograph my cousin Anna’s little boy Waylon. Waylon is such a happy boy. He is so easy to photograph and I always have a good time with him. I’m always waiting with anticipation to see what he is going to do next for my camera. Here’s a link to the slideshow.

Arlynn & Lucas's Engagement shoot

When I was down in So Cal last week I was able to meet up with Arlynn and Lucas in Manhattan Beach to do their engagement shoot. I had such a good time with them. We wondered around the pier area and some of the streets around there. They are such a cool and photogenic couple. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding up here in Tahoe in August. Courtney & Doug Take Two

All right well I had a blast photographing Courtney and Doug’s wedding in Santa Barbara with my good friend Tim Halberg. They got married at the beautiful rose garden in S.B. and had their reception at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, which is right on the beach. Courtney and Doug were surrounded by their family and close friends, which left a smile on their faces all day long. I think there are only a couple of pictures that I took where they are not smiling. Here are a couple more photos of the wedding that weren’t on their slideshow.
