Christine and Kaya having some fun!!!

Monterey, CA

Christine and I went down to Monterey 2 weeks ago for my cousins Mari's college graduation from Cal State Monterey. Way to go Mari!!!!! We had a super good time in Monterey celebrating her graduation and doing some site seeing. I haven't been to Monterey since I was in the 4th or 5th grade, so it was great to be there again. I remember as a kid I loved it when we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and I still love it now!!!! Here are some photos of the trip.

Mari about to graduate.

My gosh she graduated!!!

There were tons of sea otters everywhere we went.

Switching Blog URL's

Blogger broke again with lots of people's blogs including me that use their own host and domains. So I couldn't FTP any of my post to my host sever. I know that pretty much all of you out there don't understand any of this besides the fact that I haven't posted anything in about 2 weeks. So I'm switching back to my old blogspot address http://dougmiranda.blogspot.com/ so this doesn't happen again. The good news is that in about a month or so I will have a new website along with a new blog and then I can use my old blog address again. SO PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK TO SEE ALL MY BLOG POST UNTIL I GET MY NEW BLOG UP http://dougmiranda.blogspot.com/

Susan G Komen Walk & 100th Blog Post

This last Saturday Christine, her parents and I went down to the California state fair grounds to walk for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s really amazing to see how many people showed up!! It had to have been way over 10,000 people there walking and some running. We only did the 1-mile walk, but next year will do the 5k. This post is the 100th blog post on this blog!!!!

Tilt/Shift Photos Around Mammoth

Here are some photos that I took while I was down in Mammoth. These photos were all taken with my tilt/shift lens while I was out and about fishing. Every afternoon the thunder clouds would come up, so I couldn't pass up the chance to take some photos.

Convict Lake

It's so hard to take a self-portrait with a tilt/shift lens and I was super stoked on this one!!! I'm not a vain person, but when I was in community college we had to take self-portraits for every class and I hated it. Now I love seeing what I can come up with!!!

Last Day Of The Season

I was down in Mammoth the last couple of days skiing it up for the last time of the season and also doing some fishing. It was super nice the first two days of skiing and then the last day it was super windy with thunder storms, so I ended up just driving home. Bye Bye snow see ya next year. All of the photos are taken on my point and shoot camera.

Some self-portraits while skiing!!! Don't try this at home kids.

More S.F. Photos

Here are some more photos that I took while Christine and I were in San Francisco about a month ago. It's always fun to walk around a big city and just take photos of random things. Ok I can't think of anything clever to say so enjoy some photos!!!!

Almost every time I saw a trolley I sang the Rice- A-Roni theme song.
