Ashlynn

I photographed two of my good friends little girl the day before I left for Tahoe. Her name is Ashlynn; she is such a beautiful little girl. I had a blast watching her play in her room and through out the house. She loves books, which is a good thing, but she also loves dad’s cell phone. I don’t know how good that is for her parents being 13 months old, a girl and already loving the phone. Yikes! Here are a few from the session.

Playgroup

Well I know that I’ve been a bad blogger lately. I have been so busy this month that I can’t believe that March is almost over. So now I am trying to get caught up with everything. These pictures are from when I went to take Waylon’s one-year-old photos. I got to go to his playgroup that afternoon with him. It was crazy with all those kids in one house, but at the same time super fun. Here are some of the pictures of the madness.
O ya it was faux hawk and pigtail day for the kids.

Mono Lake

When I went down to Mammoth from Tahoe last week to do some skiing I stopped by Mono Lake to take some pictures. I’ve been to Mono Lake about 15 or so times to take pictures, but this was only the second time that I’ve been there when it was this still. The reflections were amazing! I love Mono Lake, even when it sucks to take pictures there, it’s always so peaceful and quite. This was another one of those times except the picture taking rocked. I was there for about 2 hours and was the only one out there. Here are some of the photos, so enjoy!










A self-portrait, I am usually always by myself when photo trekking so I am starting to take these were ever I go now. Just so I can say look I really was there and I didn’t steal these pictures off the internet.

Photo fun in Tahoe

I am still in Tahoe trying to find a place to live. It’s been super tough to find a place on the Nevada side of Tahoe. I went back to Mammoth for a while to do some skiing and wait for someone to move out of an apartment that I think I will rent. I will be able to look inside of the place tomorrow. I am 98% sure I will rent it, the outside looks good and it’s in a good neighborhood. While all the other places that I looked at were in the crazy and cracked out neighborhoods of South Lake Tahoe, NV. Here are some photos that I took last week while up here. I am posting from my old community college here in Tahoe, which has free wifi, got love free Internet.






These two ducks were so friendly they hung out with me for about an hour as I waited for the sun to set. They got so close to me these shots were taken with a wide angle lens, which means the front duck was about 4 inches away from my lens.


These next images are ones that were taken during the late afternoon and then at night with long exposures. Even though all of them look like they were taken during the day the ones that have the streaky clouds were taken at night.

Keeping up with Holden!

Yesterday I got to go to Del Mar to take some pictures of Holden who just turned one on Feb 24. I had such a great time with Holden and his parents. We got to go to the park and play around for a while. Then it was off to the beach to have some fun in the sun. So far I haven't photographed that many kids that can walk that well and let me tell you Holden can. That kid is fast trying to keep up with and take pictures was crazy, I feel for his parents. I' ve just started to go through the photos that I took, so here are a couple that grabbed my attention. Enjoy!

Waylons one year old photo session

On Thursday I got to go down to my cousin's house to photograph her son Waylon, who just turned one. He is growing so quickly these days. I got to spend the whole day with them and I think Waylon and I bonded, he's such a great kid. I got some really good pictures of him and I have only begun editing them. It's late and I've had a long day. I promised my cousin that I would have this blog up before midnight so she could get her blog fix. So here you go a couple photo's to hold you over until the rest are done.
